OCR: There's plenty of graphical style in Hexen with not only trees and bushes that burn, but also a whistling wind that picks up leaves off the floor and blows them around. There are traps aplenty and flowing lava, collapsing floors and even a giant bell that can be rung add to the graphical splendour. Complementing it all are the best sound effects yet to be heard in an action game. With the combat now featuring a healthy amount of hand to hand bashing, especially if you are a warrior, there are grunts, whacks and groaning noises aplenty. Add to that the fact that doors creak, windows shatter splendidly when you put them through and things burn like it was November 5th every night, and even if you have a lowly old SoundBlaster card it sounds great.
